Reynosa Market

Mexico is just minutes from Trade Winds. Cross the border into bustling Reynosa or take a short drive to laid-back Nuevo Progresso, where you can shop for the unique creations of skilled Mexican craftsmen such as jewelry, ceramics, hand woven fabrics and hand-blown glass. After shopping, toast the day's discoveries with a frosty margarita. For an unforgettable evening, you can enjoy entertainment of the mariachis. The culture of Mexico and its friendly people are not to be missed.

South Padre Island is a short drive from our park

On South Padre Island, you can have an unforgettable day of relaxation by lounging on the beautiful white sandy beaches or by sipping a cocktail while the sun sets. While you are there, don't forget to dine in one of the many sea-side restaurants and visit the quaint shops for souvenirs, clothing and gifts. If you like to fish, then charter a boat for the day and try your hand at deep sea fishing. Or, you can enjoy a variety of water sports like water skiing, sailing, kite and wind surfing, para-sailing and swimming. Once you visit the Island, you will want to return again and again.
